      Today's focus:

      [DarkSHINE]:

      • Performed simulations for LYSO crystals of three different sizes to obtain the energy deposition spectra and charge spectra, mainly tuned the simulation parameters and configurations.

      [STCF]:

      • Followed Zhiyu to carry out tests of the luminescence decay time of pCsI crystal with different optical filters, so far only raw data have been collected.

      Plans:

      [DarkSHINE]:

      • Complete the charge-energy calibration using the peak positions from the simulated spectra, then based on this calibration relation, the experimentally measured charge spectra will be converted into energy spectra.

      [STCF]:

      • Process the data and fit with a function to extract the luminescence decay time of the crystal.

      Quiescent Current Measurements

      • Discussed my FPC test results with the USTC team and sent them the specifications of the connector I tested. They will integrate these into the existing design.

      DarkSHINE

      • Obtained the exclusion limit at the truth level for Fermion DM: MCP, EDM, MDM, CR and AM. This figure below shows the 90% C.L. for MCP

      • Produced the LUT for the detector simulation. An example for MCP at m_chi = 100 MeV is shown below.

      • Plans:
      • Compare the limits with other experiments

      Today's focus:

      [Hyy*]:

      • Focus on the poster for ATLAS Week as a priority. It is now almost done, I could aim for print today. By the end of the Week-end maximum.

      [ZZy]:

      • Strategy for the week(s) to come has been defined with both Linjing and Rui.
      • Addressed comments from last week EWK group meeting. We suggested a timeline to the group yesterday: Aiming for EB in Spring, and paper publication in fall (2027). TDLI internal long term strategy to be put in place to make sure we can meet these expectations, as we are the main driving force of the analysis.
      • During GM yesterday: Presented why our TDLI team choose Easyjet and FastFrames. The discussion went well with the other teams. Few items to check but it should not be very difficult.
      • CP task is now validated locally; From TDLI we would have Kang working on it, and Rui joining the effort a bit later.
We will contact MuonCP conveners to ask for more detail, confirm it with Tairan and Antonio, and start working on this.

      [VBS_KappaLambda]:

      • Validated the new UFO model and the unitarity bounds "restoration" with extremely satisfactory results by using the previous nominal UFO model and forcing similar changes by hand.
      • Worked on having the full decay of the W bosons added to the results. Still need a couple of days of work, results to be shared shortly after.
      • Depending on the feedbacks, we could be on time to submit these results for 希格斯势 2026 (abstract submission deadline October 15).

      Plans:

      • [Hyy*]: Plan to focus on the poster for ATLAS Week as a priority.
      • [VBS_KappaLambda]: Detector level studies are still in consideration ; For now I finish having the full channel from the p-p collision to the decay of the W bosons.
      • [ZZy] Haven't started Event selection, might start now if time allows.
      • [ssWW] and [Full Run-3 Hyy*]: Plans on both of them, but priority ranking lower than the others for now.
