Search for Heavy Scalar X and Higgs pair production in diphoton and multi-lepton final states at ATLAS

Description

Abstract
The production of Higgs pair is an excellent probe of Higgs self coupling and many beyond standard model assumptions can significantly enhance its cross section. In this seminar, two searches for non-resonant higgs pair production, and also the X->SH processes, predicted by 2HDM+S model will be shown in ATLAS using the full run2 data. The final states of the analysis are chosen to be diphotons and multiple leptons. In addition, the status for ATLAS ITK strip upgrade, and the Higgs coupling results in CEPC will be also shown.

Biography
Kaili Zhang finished his Ph.D thesis defense in May 2022, with the research on the higgs pair production at ATLAS. He studied in Nankai University for his Bachelor's degree, with the thesis about Charmonium decay in BESIII. He worked for ATLAS and CEPC collaboration in IHEP, and spent 1 year and a half in LBNL for ATLAS ITK Strips upgrade. Currently, his academic interest includes dihiggs searches, photon final states measurements, statistics combination and semi- conductor performance..
