Abstract:
Charged Lepton Flavor Violation (CLFV) is forbidden in the Standard Model, but predicted to exist at an observable level by various theories beyond the Standard Model. It is one of the most promising directions in experimental search for New Physics. In this talk, I will review the search for CLFV with high intensity muon experiments, collider experiments including BESIII, Belle, ATLAS and CMS, as well as the prospects to search for CLFV at future colliders.
Biography:
Prof. Zhengyun You received his Bachelor and Ph. D degree from Peking University in 2002 and 2007. He then worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory of U.S. Department of Energy and associate project scientist at University of California Irvine, before joining Sun Yat-sen University in 2015. Prof. You has been actively working on the experiments including BESIII, CMS, JUNO and Mu2e at Fermilab, focuses on searching for New Physics beyond the Standard Model with rare processes.
