Tencent meeting room: https://meeting.tencent.com/dm/NXVVKc7PPZSs

Meeting number: 695-8098-7502

    • 16:00 16:05
      Introduction 5m

      General items.

Speaker: Prof. Kun LIU (TDLI/SPA, SJTU)
    • 16:05 16:15
ATLAS ttWML and ttHML analyses status 10m
Speaker: Nihal BRAHIMI (Tsung-Dao Lee Institute & Shanghai Jiao Tong University)

      ttWML analysis status :

      • Current focus of the team is directed towards having the paper draft ready for the second circulation (by end of May).
      • The main outstanding items concern the preparation of the inputs for the HEP data release.
      • RIVET routine validation studies uncovered a bug in the truth OR implementation in GFW2. This is now fixed and fits will be rerun (no big impact expected)
      • Data bootstrap replicas, also needed for HEP data release, are being prepared. Some issues encountered at the implementation level and are being followed up.

      ttHML analysis status:

      • Given the timescale of the analysis (EB request by end of May), we need to freeze the MVAs strategy ASAP. In particular, the decision on adding a fourth tH node to the nominal MVAs in the 0-tau channels needs to be taken soon. Relevant studies are already being carried out and obtained results being digested.
      • CRONLY and BONLY fits to data were performed. There are discrepancies between 2lSS and 3l teams in terms of the background normalisation obtained for VV due to differences in the MVA regions impact between the two channels. Next step would be to run a combined 2lSS+3l BONLY fit and check the obtained NFs.
      • CR+SR Asimov fits (and hybrid fits) need to be rerun accounting for all systematics (modeling+instrumental)--> needed for EB
      • A new round of ttHML production is needed to include proper b-tagging SFs variations (fixed WP) and latest recommendation for JES, electron reconstruction and muon trigger SFs. The code is being prepared but issues encountered with missing electron isolation WPs in AT and are being followed up. Once the code is ready, the production will be launched.
      • The ttHML INT note is being filled with the documented studies from different teams. Material is being reviewed.
    • 16:15 16:25
      ATLAS ttH analysis 10m
      Speaker: Jialin Li
      1. Fixed the bug of ttH_Gen systematics.
      2. Plan to do the combined CR+SR fit with all theory systematics in the 2lSS channel. (Using new 4D BDT result, significance is 4.02 sigma@stat-only ASIMOV fit).
      3. Combine the 3l and 2lSS to fit.

(For 2., Generate stat-only fit result plots vs. sys. added plots to compare)

    • 16:25 16:35
ATLAS photon ID efficiency & Zgamma analysis 10m
      Speaker: Kang Liu
    • 16:35 16:50
ATLAS Zgamma & diphoton analysis 15m
Speakers: Yufeng Wang (TDLI), yufeng wang
    • 16:50 17:00
      DarkSHINE analysis general 10m
Speakers: Yufeng Wang (TDLI), yufeng wang

      new physics in DarkSHINE framework:

      • added axion definition & some current process list into framework
      • now any signal model can be specified from the config file
      • process to be added: axion model (done, testing some details i.e. biasing factor, emission), dark axion portal
