electron initial energy bias in signal:
- four 5e5 signal samples generated (baseline 1.5, multi-track reconstruction fixed) for this check.
- this additional energy bias (>4 GeV) causes only 0.7% event loss.
- overall signal efficiency is not affected; overall track selection efficiency has a ~0.5% loss from this additional bias.
- difference @ reco level comes from low-momuntum track mis-reconstruction.
axion model:
- photon-coupling dominated case:
- through secondary photons; mis-located signature if decay into photon pairs.
- model's ready, but need to find a way to implement.
- electron-coupling dominated case:
- via direct bremsstrahlung (i.e., similar as dark photon inv. case).
- fixed a bug in calcHEP
- generated 4 mass points (assuming photon-coupling is absent), checking distribution
- providing sensitivity once checked with theorist
