      ATLAS ttWML and ttHML analyses status 10m

      ttWML analysis status :

      • Momentum ramping up again towards having the paper draft ready for the second circulation in time for the Top conference in September (severly limited by person power).
      • The main outstanding items are: rerunning fits needed to fix discovered bugs in the truth OR (WIP) and preparation of the inputs for the HEP data release.

      ttHML analysis status:

      • A lot of work is ongoing to meet the tight timescale of the analysis and be ready for an EB request by the end of next week
      • Several fit setups in the 2lSS channel are being tested by Jialin adding all the available systematics. Updates today!
      • An intermediate round of GN2 production (v0802) is mostly ready (few samples needed for the instrumental systematics are missing and being sorted out). We took the opportunity to make the ntuples injection friendly. Jialin currently running the injection with the latest MVA available
      • The ttHML INT note is being filled with the documented studies from different teams. Currently reviewing the latest updates from 2lSS team and filling the sections in the main body.

      Studied the performance of new geometry by generating some signal samples. Choose the DP mass points as following: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000 MeV. Each sample has ~ 1e5 events. Now using the Karmann fitting to do DAna will fail. Currently in debug...
