Description
Abstract:
Recently, quantum technologies have been being developed rapidly and quantum computers with O(100) qubits are becoming available.
We propose to use a type of qubit called transmon qubits to detect dark photon dark matter. A qubit is coherently excited by the
effective electric field of the hidden photon and by measuring the state of the qubit, we may discover the dark photon dark matter with
a mass $m \sim \mu\text{eV}$ and a kinetic mixing with the standard model photon $\epsilon \sim 10^{-(12\mbox{-}13)}$.
We also propose to exploit an entanglement of multiple qubits. Using an appropriate quantum circuit to entangle qubits,
the sensitivity can be improved by $N$, where $N$ is the number of the qubits. We also show that our circuit stabilizes the qubits against
some quantum noises.
