Abstract

The origin of baryon asymmetry (or matter-antimatter asymmetry) is one of the important problems in particle physics and cosmology. This talk will briefly introduce various mechanisms of baryogenesis as well as the relevant work done by the speaker.

Biography:

Dr. Chengcheng Han obtained his PhD from the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014. From 2014 to 2020, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP), the Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (Kavli IPMU) at the University of Tokyo, and the Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS). He is currently an associate professor at Sun Yat-sen University. His main research interests include particle cosmology, supersymmetric theory and phenomenology, and topics related to dark matter. He has published over 50 papers in journals such as PRL and JHEP, with a total of more than 2000 citations.
