ecent years\, quantum computing and artificial intelligence (AI) have achi
eved remarkable progress. The cross-integration of these two fields has gi
ven birth to quantum artificial intelligence (Quantum AI)\, an interdiscip
linary frontier. On the one hand\, the inherent parallel processing advant
age of quantum computing is expected to address the computing power and en
ergy consumption bottlenecks faced by AI\, thereby advancing the developme
nt of AI. On the other hand\, AI technologies can also be applied to solve
complex quantum problems\, providing support for the development of quant
um computing. Interdisciplinary research between the two is expected to br
eak through their respective limitations and generate transformative ideas
and technologies. In this report\, I will briefly introduce some of the l
atest cutting-edge advancements in the fields of quantum computing and Qua
ntum AI\, and demonstrate how quantum physics and AI intersect\, integrate
\, and mutually promote each other through specific examples. Additionally
\, I will discuss a number of urgent fundamental issues that need to be re
solved in the field of Quantum AI. Biography:Dongling Deng is a Tenured A
ssociate Professor at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Scie
nces (IIIS)\, Tsinghua University. He is a recipient of the National Talen
t Program and a member of the National Major Talent Program. In 2007\, he
obtained a double Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Mathematics from Nank
ai University. In 2015\, he earned his Doctoral degree from the University
of Michigan\, USA\, and his doctoral dissertation was awarded the "Kent M
. Terwilliger Memorial Thesis Prize". From 2015 to 2018\, he conducted pos
tdoctoral research at the Joint Quantum Institute (JQI) of the University
of Maryland. In 2018\, he joined Tsinghua University. Currently\, he serve
s as an Associate Editor of npj Quantum Information and a member of the Ed
itorial Board of Communications in Theoretical Physics and Quantum Review
Letters. In 2021\, he was awarded the First Prize of Tianjin Municipal Nat
ural Science Award (as the Second Completed Person). In 2022\, he received
the title of "Advanced Worker" of Tsinghua University. His main research
focus is Quantum AI\, and he has published over 100 papers in journals suc
h as Nature\, sub-journals of Nature and Science\, Physical Review Letters
  (PRL)\, and Physical Review X (PRX).\n\nhttps://indico-tdli.sjtu.edu.cn/e
