Minutes for the 2025-01-07 group meeting [at N630]:
Hosted by Prof. Li and Matthias Tartarin
(written here for now, as I don't have access to modify the event yet)
Announcements:
- No significant announcements have been made today.
Meeting unfolding
- Roundtable with every members of the group, following the Zoom agenda order. Arrival of a new post-doc researcher to the team : Matthias Tartarin.
- Prof. Li gave advices and suggestions on how to improve the writing of minutes for future meetings, to help with clarity for other group members. One of them being (non-contractual wording): When possible, please try to give more insight about the work you are sharing so that every member can follow without having prior knowledge of it already. The idea is to put yourself in other people's shoes, and see if what is written is still understandable without needing extra-explanations.Comment from Matthias: Would creating a minute template be helpful to that purpose? Please ask and I can suggest one.
