assword）Abstract:Maturing Pulsar Timing Arrays are poised to inaugurate
the era of nano-hertz gravitational-wave astronomy\, led by the coordinat
ed efforts of the International Pulsar Timing Array (IPTA).The astrophysic
al and cosmological implications of current IPTA results will be summarisd
. I will discuss ongoing efforts that should be helpful to pursue persiste
nt\, multi-messenger GW astronomy with individual supermassive black-hole
binaries like OJ 287 in the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) era.The need fo
r an Asian initiative to build expertise in GW astronomy\, strengthening
regional capacity\, training\, and coordinated follow-up will be highlight
ed.Biography:A. Gopakumar is a Professor at the Tata Institute of Fundamen
tal Research\, Mumbai\, India. His research centers on gravitational wave
s and the general relativistic aspects of black hole binaries. Beyond his
core research\, he is a founding member of the Indian Pulsar Timing Array
(InPTA) and  serves on the International Advisory and Evaluation Committe
e of the National Astronomical Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sc
 iences (NAOC)\, Beijing\, China.\n\nhttps://indico-tdli.sjtu.edu.cn/event/
