DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Jijun Yang（杨继军） (Westlake University)\n\nA
bstract:Precise measurement of Coherent Elastic Neutrino-Nucleus Scatterin
g (CEvNS) is crucial for constraining the Standard Model\, probing non-sta
ndard neutrino interactions and rejecting the background in dark matter de
tection. The two phase Liquid Xenon Time Projection Chamber (LXeTPC) achie
ves enhanced signal amplification and lower-energy thresholds\, making it
an ideal technology for CEvNS detection. The RELICS experiment utilizes th
e LXeTPC technology to detect neutrinos from a nuclear reactor in Taizhou\
, China. One of the key challenges in this new scenario is suppressing the
dominant delayed-electron background from cosmic muons. This seminar will
report the latest R&D progress of RELICS experiment on sub-keV level sign
al detection\, as well as the main strategy to this background.Biography:D
 r. Jijun Yang currently serves as the coordinator of the electronics and d
ata acquisition (DAQ) system in the RELICS experiment. His research focuse
s on neutrino and dark matter detection. He obtained his Ph.D. from Shangh
ai Jiao Tong University in 2022. In 2017\, he joined the PandaX collaborat
ion working on dark matter and neutrino detection\, and served as the on-s
ite leader of the electronics and DAQ system during the PandaX 4T commissi
oning run. In 2024\, as a postdoc at Westlake University\, he worked on fa
st analysis of Rn 220 calibration for low energy electrical recoil and bac
kscatter facility installation for low energy nuclear recoil calibration i
n XENONnT. He proposed and is responsible for developing the extended dyna
mic range readout electronics for rejecting the main backgrounds in RELICS
experiment. Host: Prof. Yong YangAlternative online link: https://meetin
