DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Yi Wang(王一） (Hong Kong University of Science a
nd Technology)\n\nAbstract：Over the past few months\, AI and AI agents h
ave fundamentally shifted research methodologies in theoretical physics. T
his talk is divided into two parts. First\, we provide an overview and rea
l-world examples of AI integration in daily research\, ranging from "vibe
physics" via chat interfaces to systematic agent-assisted-research using C
odex and Claude Code. Second\, we introduce our custom-built AI framework
for the theoretical physics workflow\, showcasing how it automates and enh
ances literature reviews\, idea discovery\, mathematical calculations\, an
d result checking.Biography:Yi Wang\, Professor of Physics at the Hong Kon
g University of Science and Technology\, Associate Director of its Space S
cience and Technology Institute\, and an elected member of the Hong Kong Y
oung Academy of Sciences. He was a Stephen Hawking Advanced Fellow at the
University of Cambridge and was supported by the RGC Research Fellow Sche
me of Hong Kong\, and the NSFC Excellent Young Scientist Scheme (Hong Kong
and Macau). His research spans theoretical high-energy physics and cosmolo
gy\, and recently is also interested in application of AI in theoretical p
hysics research. He is also active in popular science\, having contributed
to the sixth edition of 100\,000 Whys and authored several popular scien
ce books. His science videos have received over 100 million views.Alternat
