      • [optional: indicate which project/analysis it refers to] item 2

    • 10:05 10:10
      Status 5m
      Speaker: Zhijing Zhang (TDLI, SJTU)

      Today's focus:

      [STCF]:

      • After comparison, found that the position resolution is better at the crystal edge, as the energy‑weighted centroid method is more sensitive to position variations there.

      [DarkSHINE]:

      • Learn optical simulation framework, study optical material properties and optical processes, and reviewed the official optical simulation example.

      Plans:

      [STCF]:

      • Adjust the crystal light‑output non‑uniformity parameter in the simulation to match simulated positron and muon energy responses with experimental data.

      [DarkSHINE]:

      • Build the LYSO single-crystal model, configure the optical material properties, and carry out preliminary optical simulations.
    • 10:10 10:20
      Status 10m
      Speaker: Kang Yu (TDLI, SJTU)
      1. Review the FLRW metric. Finish a course report on the introduction of quantum gravity.
      2. Review the critical behavior and renormalization group method.
      3. Finish grading the undergraduates' examination papers as teaching assistant.
      • Plan to shift my focus back to ZZ4l analysis next week
    • 10:20 10:30
      Status 10m
      Speaker: Linjing Duan (TDLI, SJTU)

      ZZy

      • In response to the question raised during the kickoff, I also checked whether the missing Run3 4ly and ZZy samples exist in early derivation formats, but found no mc23 matches. So we can reply that these samples likely need to be requested from scratch.
      • The ZZγ XS calculation is still running and may need a few more days to finish. I will keep monitoring the job and further check the meaning of the expected efficiency reported by Sherpa.
      • Working on the local HGamGamStar validation and am now more familiar with the MxAOD production workflow. I have also tried submitting the Run2 ZZγ sample to the grid. The basic setup is ready, and I am still debugging the grid test. I expect to make further progress today.

      Plan

      • Will focus on learning the basic EasyJet workflow and try a handson test using the ssWW example. This will be my main task for the rest of this week.

    • 10:30 10:40
      Status 10m
      Speaker: Jun Wei Lok (TDLI, SJTU)
    • 10:40 10:50
      Status 10m
      Speaker: Zelin Yan (TDLI, SJTU)

      [Today's focus:]

      • Wlllv analysis:
        • Xgboost score shows bad agreement in SRsideband and SR low bdt score(but good in WZCR), all attempts failed.
        • Maybe this is because the different cut definition between nonprompt bkg and MC samples, need more check today.

      [Next plans:]

      • Wlllv analysis:
        • Try to solve data/mc mismatching issue in SRsideband and SR low bdt score region, more discussion with Tairan and Runxuan.
        • Fill BDT section in INT note.
        • SR + WZCR joint fit with systematics.
      • HGTD FELIX monitoring:
        • Discussion about AQP and further more works in CERN in tomorrow DAQ/LUMI meeting with Stefan and Alex.
    • 10:50 11:00
      Status 10m
      Speaker: Bai-Hong Zhou (TDLI, SJTU)

      Today's focus:

      [ssWW]:

      • Checked the expected significance for W_L in both Run2 and Run3 ws:
        • Need to combine the Run2 and Run3 to check the final significance;

      Run2 INT

      Run2 res.

      Run3 res.

      WZCR (μ)

      0.74±0.08

      0.86±0.05

      0.86±0.12

      LL-WW (Sig.)

      1.5

      1.6

      1.6

      LX-WW (Sig.)

      4.5

      5.1

      5.3

      • Produced the systematics samples using FastFrames;
        • Very slow for production (~1 days for Full Run 2 dataset, for ssWW_TT_WW samples);
        • Would add the sytematics items to our TRExFitter;

      [Hyy*]:

      • Present our paper draft in yestedays's ATLAS weekly meeting;
      • Checked our lumi unc in the obs dataset to reply one comment for our paper draft;
        • The issuse is caused by the failure in the minos step;

      Plans:

      [ssWW]:

      • Combine the Run 2 and Run 3 workspace to see the expected significance;
      • Check the systematics impact for ParT;
      • Add the sytematics items to our TRExFitter;

      [Hyy*]:

      • Prepare a short slide to answer the comment and explain our changes;

      [DarkSHINE FastSimu]:

      • Produce more samples for FastSimulation (before Digitization);
    • 11:00 11:10

    • 11:10 11:20
      Status 10m
      Speaker: Zhiyu Zhao (TDLI, SJTU)
    • 11:20 11:30
      Status 10m
      Speaker: Haidar Mas'ud Alfanda (TDLI, SJTU)

      DarkSHINE

      • Four-channel test for the 35cm-long scintillator
      • Fixed the temperature sensor
      • During the test, the temperature remained relatively stable, with a variation of no more than 1 degree Celsius
      • We will do test to get the relationship between temperature and gain
      • Plan: We will also perform the same test for the 75 cm-long scintillator
      • Review the simulation code and repeat it for the 75 cm-long scintillator

      Exotic Higgs decay analysis

      • Producing the NTuples with the new jet reconstruction algorithm (XCone algorithm)
      • The XCone algorithm has been shown to resolve overlapping in the boosted regime
      • Once the NTuples are ready, will train the ParT and evaluate the b-jet tagging efficiency

      HGTD upgrade

      • Paticpated in the wafer test over the weekend
      • Take another shift block this weekend
    • 11:30 11:40
      Status 10m
      Speaker: Matthias Tartarin (TDLI, SJTU)

      Today's focus:

      [ssWW]:

      • Unfolding: Precise strategy is still to be defined. Some comments from Yi that I got yesterday needs to be discussed.

      [VBS_Kappa ]:

      • Moved the framework to bl-0 instead of lxplus. Twofold: Sending batch would be easier, and sharing future results (with Prof. Keping Xie) would technically also be much easier. Every software dependency has been successfully loaded, but time did not allow MC generation yet.

      Plans:

      • [ssWW] In coming discussion with Baihong to identify the (current and in the near future) tasks we should focus on regarding longitudinal polarisation measurement (in addition to our current engagements, such as EFT and framework developement).
      • [VBS_Kappa] No additional items here, beside keeping the momentum on this project.
