DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Lesya Shchutska (EPFL)\n\nAbstract:The Standard Mode
 l leaves several fundamental questions unanswered\, including the nature o
 f dark matter\, the origin of neutrino masses\, and the matter-antimatter 
 asymmetry of the Universe. SHiP (Search for Hidden Particles) is a new gen
 eral-purpose experiment in preparation at CERN's SPS\, designed to explore
  feebly interacting particles at the intensity frontier. A high-intensity 
 400 GeV proton beam will produce large samples of heavy-flavor hadrons and
  photons in a beam-dump target\, providing sensitivity to long-lived parti
 cles in the MeV-GeV mass range. The experiment combines a decay spectromet
 er with a scattering and neutrino detector\, enabling searches for heavy n
 eutral leptons\, dark photons\, dark scalars\, axion-like particles\, and 
 light dark matter\, together with a rich neutrino program. This talk will 
 present the SHiP physics case\, experimental concept\, expected sensitivit
 y\, and its role in the broader search for physics beyond the Standard Mod
 el.Speaker Bio:Prof. Lesya Shchutska is a faculty member at EPFL (École P
 olytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne)\, where she leads research at the for
 efront of particle physics. Her work spans both the intensity and energy f
 rontiers\, with major contributions to the LHCb and CMS experiments at the
  LHC. She has made significant contributions to precision tests of the Sta
 ndard Model\, including studies of lepton flavor universality and rare dec
 ays\, as well as searches for new physics such as heavy neutral leptons\, 
 dark photons\, and other feebly interacting particles. She is actively inv
 olved in the SHiP (Search for Hidden Particles) experiment at CERN\, contr
 ibuting to its physics case and detector development. Her recent research 
 also explores physics opportunities at future facilities\, including the F
