DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Zuchen Huang（黄祖琛） (IJCLab (Orsay\, France)
 )\n\nAbstract:The FCC-ee\, endorsed as CERN's next flagship project\, will
operate as a precision Higgs and electroweak factory at centre-of-mass en
ergies up to 365 GeV\, demanding detectors with excellent energy resolutio
n\, high granularity\, and large dynamic range for particle-flow reconstru
ction and precision measurements. This seminar presents ALLEGRO (A Lepton
collidEr detector with Granular Read-Out)\, a detector concept distinguish
ed by a highly-granular noble-liquid sampling electromagnetic calorimeter.
Building on the proven technology of liquid argon and krypton calorimetry
successfully deployed in DØ\, ATLAS\, and NA62\, ALLEGRO exploits advanc
es in multi-layer printed circuit board manufacturing to achieve almost ar
bitrarily high readout granularity. Multi-layer PCB electrodes between nob
le-liquid gaps and lead absorber plates enable four-dimensional imaging of
electromagnetic showers\, allowing machine-learning algorithms and partic
le-flow reconstruction to be fully exploited. The talk focuses on the ECAL
design\, including the PCB readout electrode innovations\, mechanical eng
ineering\, cryostat integration\, and electronics options\, and discusses
the ongoing R&D within the DRD6 collaboration and the test-beam prototype
roadmap.Speaker Bio:Zuchen Huang earned his Ph.D. from the University of M
anchester in 2024 and is presently a postdoctoral researcher at IJCLab (La
boratoire de Physique des 2 Infinis Irène Joliot-Curie) in Orsay\, France
. He is active in both data analysis and detector development: within the
ATLAS collaboration\, he focuses on Standard Model electroweak measurement
 s\, particularly diboson production\; within the ALLEGRO collaboration\, h
e contributes to electrode R&D and ECAL simulation.Alternative online link
