 一半，系统突然强制更新，重启后未保存的修改全没了
 ；打开电脑，弹窗广告不请自来；运行稍大的应用，电
 脑就开始卡顿甚至死机——这些Windows用户习以为常的痛
 点，在Linux上基本不存在。Linux系统稳定、无广告、无强
 制更新、几乎无病毒困扰，运行效率高，资源占用低，
 而且在安全性和可定制性方面远超Windows。更重要的是，
 你日常在Windows上做的绝大多数事情——写文档、做演示
 文稿、处理表格数据、收发邮件、上网、管理文件——
 在Linux上都能以同样甚至更好的方式完成，大部分常用软
 件都有Linux版本或优秀的开源替代品。\n对于科研人员，L
 inux更是连接超算、运行计算任务、使用各类科学计算工
 具的不二之选。李政道研究所推出Linux mini-workshop系列讲
 座，从零起步，无需任何基础，帮助大家平稳地从Windows
 过渡到Linux。\n本系列培训第一讲侧重入门、系统安装、
 桌面与常用软件，第二讲和第三讲带你熟悉命令行常用
 操作。本系列培训不限于三讲，后续内容将根据大家的
 实际反馈和需求灵活增设。\nHave you ever been in the middle of 
 writing a paper when your system forces a restart for updates\, and all yo
 ur unsaved changes are lost? Or turned on your computer only to be greeted
  by pop-up ads? Or had your machine slow to a crawl or even freeze when ru
 nning a moderately demanding application? These pain points that Windows u
 sers have grown accustomed to are virtually nonexistent on Linux. Linux is
  stable\, ad-free\, free from forced updates\, and nearly immune to viruse
 s. It runs efficiently with low resource usage\, and far surpasses Windows
  in security and customizability. More importantly\, almost everything you
  do on a daily basis with Windows—writing documents\, creating presentat
 ions\, working with spreadsheets\, sending and receiving emails\, browsing
  the web\, and managing files—can be done just as well\, if not better\,
  on Linux. Most common software either has a native Linux version or a hig
 h-quality open-source alternative.\nFor researchers\, Linux is the go-to p
 latform for connecting to supercomputers\, running computational tasks\, a
 nd using a wide range of scientific computing tools. The Tsung-Dao Lee Ins
 titute (TDLI) is launching this Linux Mini-Workshop series. Starting from 
 scratch with no prior experience required\, we aim to help everyone make a
  smooth transition from Windows to Linux.\nThe first session will focus on
  getting started—installation\, the desktop environment\, and commonly u
 sed software. The second and third sessions will introduce you to essentia
 l command-line operations. This series is not limited to three sessions\; 
 additional topics will be offered based on your feedback and needs.\n\nhtt
