DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Xueying Han（韩雪莹） (中国科学院高能物
 理研究所)\n\nAbstract:\nQuantum chromodynamics (QCD) exhibits pronounc
ed nonperturbative features at low energies\, and lattice QCD provides a f
irst-principles framework for investigating the nonperturbative properties
of the strong interaction. Gradient flow has become a widely used tool in
lattice field theory in recent years\, effectively smoothing ultraviolet
fluctuations and facilitating the definition of renormalized quantities an
d the study of scale evolution. This talk will briefly introduce the basic
ideas of gradient flow and its applications in lattice QCD\, with a focus
on the nonperturbative determination of the QCD β function using the con
tinuous gradient-flow method. It will then introduce new schemes for the r
enormalization of flowed fermion operators and ongoing numerical calculati
ons. Finally\, in light of current research progress\, potential applicati
ons of this method in nonperturbative QCD and hadron physics will be discu
 ssed.\nHost: Prof. Wei wang\nAlternative online link: https://meeting.tenc
