Abstract:
As general-purpose quantum computers rapidly develop, quantum simulation is becoming a promising new method across many research fields. In high-energy physics, quantum simulation has the potential to solve non-perturbative, real-time evolution problems that are difficult for traditional methods. We systematically study quantum simulation of two major aspects in HEP: hadron structure and phase transition. In 1+1 dimensions, our study shows that current quantum algorithms can achieve good accuracy and efficiency. We also develop a multi-agent framework that automates quantum circuit design for HEP simulations.
Biography:
I earned my Ph.D. in physics from Tsinghua University in 2018. Since then, I have worked at South China Normal University as a researcher and lecturer. I studied heavy-ion collision phenomenology and quantum transport theory, with a focus on anomalous transport phenomena. In recent years, my research interests have been in quantum simulation and AI in high-energy physics.
