Search for diboson resonance and DiHiggs production at ATLAS detector

Abstract
The production of heavy diboson resonance have been predicted by many Beyond Standard Models (BSM). The models can refer to heavy scalar, vector or tensor resonances. Meanwhile the DiHiggs search is one of spotlight search since it gives us chances of better understanding higgs properties and potential BSM discovery. In this seminar, I will focus on heavy diboson resonance researches with semi-leptonic decay and DiHiggs production associated with a vector boson at ATLAS detector, including neural network method used in these analyses.

Biography
Dr. Zhongyukun XU is a fresh PhD of Shandong University and University of Michigan (based at CERN). He started his doctoral study since 2015. From 2015 to 2022, he worked in the HDBS (Higgs and Diboson Search) group in ATLAS experiment on the topics of Higgs properties and BSM studies. He is also a visiting scientist of University of Michigan since 2019. His main work now is DiHiggs production associated with a vector boson.
