      ttWML and ttHML analyses status

      ttWML analysis status:

      • The group decided to fall back to the sub-optimal MG FxFx sample for ttW Gen and target a conf-conversion for the LHCTop/HWG meeting in December: https://indico.cern.ch/event/1219500/
      • Unblinded fits are being rolled out for different setups (inclusive, differential,..). No showstoppers flagged so far. Latest inclusive results can be found here: https://indico.cern.ch/event/1221489/#2-inclusive-fit-updates (quite consistent with CMS within uncertainties)
      • After conf-conversion, we will proceed to a paper targeting Moriond.

      ttHML analysis status:

      • Most of the efforts focussed on defining MVA discriminants to be used in the SRs
      • Working with Jialin to come up with a good discriminant using DNN. Multiple configurations tested so far. Main bottleneck is the ttW CR and ttH SR definitions. Large anti-correlation (70%) observed between NF(ttH) and NF(ttW) which is not desirable.
      • First dedicated (mini/skimmed) ttHML ntuples production now mostly ready (few jobs to be retried). Issues encountered when downloading the samples to eos and are being followed-up.

      photon ID efficiency measurement & Zgamma analysis

      For Photon ID in Rel21

      I have get ID efficiency of data17 and mc16d, but the result is not correct due to the smirnov transformation.

      Now I reruning the grid job to build mc16d ntuples. it near to finish (95%).

      After that I will recalculate the smirnov transformation, and then apply it on data17 and calculate ID efficiency.

      For Photon ID in Rel22

      Since the type of branch is vector<double>, what I need is only one of the vector. So I am learning the code of fill histogram in TnP.

      Also I am trying to extract, for example, pt__NOSYS[0] in the Create finely-binned histograms code.

      For CV Test

      Due to the low resistance of the open circuit calibration of the LCR meter. For example, it should be in the order of G ohms normally, but after calibration, it is displayed in the order of M ohms.

      After investigation, it is found that the capacitor of the adapter is short-circuited.

      I have already purchased capacitors with the same specifications and asked Tang Jiannan to help me solder it. 

      We can restart CV test this Thursday.
