      Introduction

      General items.

Speaker: Prof. Kun LIU (TDLI/SPA, SJTU)
    • 2
ATLAS ttWML and ttHML analyses status
Speaker: Nihal BRAHIMI (Tsung-Dao Lee Institute & Shanghai Jiao Tong University)

      ttWML analysis status :

      • Current focus of the team is directed towards having the paper draft ready for the second circulation (by end of May).
      • The main outstanding items concern the preparation of the inputs for the HEP data release.
      • RIVET routine validation studies ongoing to solve remaining discrepancies in the jets related observables.
      • Data bootstrap replicas, also needed for HEP data release, are being prepared. Some issues encountered at the implementation level and are being followed up.

      ttHML analysis status:

      • Given the tight timescale of the analysis, we need to freeze the MVAs strategy ASAP. Studies ongoing to inform the decision on adding a tH node to the nominal MVAs and final results expected by next week. At this stage, having an EB request by end of May is optimistic but we still want to keep this target to keep momentum.
      • Setup for CR+SR Asimov fits (and hybrid fits) in 2lSS channel is being prepared by accounting for all systematics (modeling+instrumental) is being prepared by Jialin--> needed for EB
      • A new round of ttHML production is needed to include proper b-tagging SFs variations (fixed WP) and latest recommendation for JES, electron reconstruction and muon trigger SFs. The code is being prepared but issues encountered with missing electron isolation WPs in AT and are being followed up. Once the code is ready, the production will be launched.
      • The ttHML INT note is being filled with the documented studies from different teams. Material is being reviewed.

      ATLAS ttH analysis
      Speaker: Jialin Li
      1. Write Marco to produce mini-ntuples(including training variables only) and inject some last ntuples with MVA-score.
      2. Already got the no-sys plots and try to use add Friend Tree method to do the w/ sys fit. (could get the result and summary later today)

ATLAS photon ID efficiency & Zgamma analysis
      Speaker: Kang Liu

Joshua has replied me the framework about computing fudge factors.

I'm learning how to use it. After that, I will use this framework to calculate the fudge factor of fracs1, and then update the result of EE.

    • 5
      ATLAS Zgamma & diphoton analysis
Speakers: Yufeng Wang (TDLI), yufeng wang
    • 6
      DarkSHINE analysis general
Speakers: Yufeng Wang (TDLI), yufeng wang

Updating framework for new signal physics.

      • fixing bugs: DDis don't recognize dark phton or axion (which doesn't matter); wrong index for new processes.
      • checking kinetic distributions:
        • energy match to what we have in LUT.
        • p & theta: processed in Geant4, affected by the magnetic field. Adding these variables into LUT for cross check.
    • 7
      DarkSHINE tracker study
      Speaker: Junhua Zhang
    • 8
      DarkSHINE HCAL Study
      Speaker: Hanqing Liu
    • 9
      Silicon strip sensor
Speakers: Hanqing Liu, Jialin Li, Junhua Zhang, Kang Liu, Yufeng Wang (TDLI), yufeng wang

      Finalizing the strip sensor paper.
