16:00 → 16:05 Introduction

General items.

16:05 → 16:15 ATLAS ttWML and ttHML analyses status

Speaker: Nihal BRAHIMI (Tsung-Dao Lee Institute & Shanghai Jiao Tong University)

ttWML analysis status :

• Momentum ramping up again towards having the paper draft ready for the second circulation (was severly limited by person power).
• We decided to update the reference SM cross-section in the paper based on the latest ttW NNLO prediction (745 vs 722fb): https://arxiv.org/pdf/2306.16311.pdf (minor updates)
• The main outstanding items are: rerunning fits needed to fix discovered bugs in the truth OR (inputs finally ready) and preparation of the inputs for the HEP data release.
• Collider Cross Talk on ttW is scheduled for July 13th.

ttHML analysis status:

• A lot of work is ongoing to meet the tight timescale of the analysis and be ready for an EB request ASAP (will have a discussion with the other contacts later today)
• Several fit setups in the 2lSS channel are being tested by Jialin (and SDU group) adding all the available systematics. Obtained results are being digested and validated. Issues with some of the modeling systematics are being followed up.
• An intermediate round of GN2 production (v0802) was launched and being finalized. It is needed to test the impact on the MVA trainings of some ill defined variables inherited from ttW analysis. We took the opportunity to make the ntuples injection friendly. Work on the new GN1 v09 production is also ongoing.
• The ttHML INT note is being filled with the documented studies from different teams. Currently reviewing the latest updates from 2lSS team (to be discussed with Jialin and SDU group).

16:15 → 16:25 ATLAS ttH analysis

1.Produced all the injected samples (based on v0801)with full systematics.

2.Submitted the fit job to condor and waiting for the result(maybe need longer time ,no more than tomorrow).

 

16:25 → 16:35 ATLAS photon ID efficiency & Zgamma analysis

16:35 → 16:45 DarkSHINE analysis general

axion model:

• producing large stat. axion signal sample (~50%).
• cross-section w.r.t. different axion mass (missed by factor of 2?)
• seen different kinetic distribution comparing to dark photon signal.
• to-do: bkg extrapolation with slightly different cuts & sensitivity.

16:45 → 16:55 DarkSHINE tracker study

Speaker: Junhua Zhang

Compared the peak deviation of the momentum reconstruction for the new geometry (GeoE) and the old geometry. 

1. Used normalized histograms for making total event # is 1. 
2. The peak diviations of recoil momentum in GeoE are better than old geometry. I'll summary such data later. 
3. In the reconstruction of lager momentum, the HWFMs in GeoE are marrower than old geometry.
