Abstract：

Chiral symmetry and its spontaneous breaking plays a fundamental role in strong interaction physics.I will summarize new results and new understandings on this subject in past few years, which many are  obtained by myself and collaborators. Special attentions will be paid on  low energy pion nucleon scatterings.
