13:30 Tracking detector R&D

We took a fast look at the IV curve of USTC sensor. There was avalanche voltage about 320V, but the background current was unstable and no data was recorded.

13:40 Tracking reconstruction

to do:

1. Check the reason why the reconstruction efficiency is less than 100%. From lack of initial vertex y.
2. Use the Baseline1.6 sample to reconstruct, and check the reconstructed p distribution corresponding to different truth_p (eg 8, 6, 4, 2, 1, 0.5, 0.2, 0.1, 0.05, 0.02 GeV's).
3. Check whether the ACTS algorithm is sensitive to seeding parameters.
4. Visualization of reco-tracking parameters.

baseline 1.6 signal samples have been re-produced with hit energy cut @ 0.02 MeV.

(e.g.: 1 GeV, horizontal placed tracker, thick)

only 1 rec cut efficiency recover: 40% -> 58%

The group plans to convene the next EB meeting during the week of January 15th.

Adding xsec uncertainties on ttH, ttV, VV. 

The 4top xsec study is ongoing.
