Abstract :

I plan to discuss models of pseudo-Nambu-Goldstone boson (pNGB) dark matter (DM) scenario. pNGB DM is an attractive candidate for WIMP DM, where the stringent bound from the DM direct detection can easily evaded by NGB nature. There are several attempts to construct a UV complete models for pNGB DM, however most of them predict decaying long-lived DM. We propose a new model based on an additional non-Abelian gauge symmetry SU(2). The dark gauge symmetry SU(2) is spontaneously broken to a dark global custodial symmetry U(1) via the nonvanishing vacuum expectation values of SU(2)_D doublet and triplet scalar fields. Due to the exact dark custodial symmetry U(1), the lightest U(1) charged particle becomes stable. I would like to introduce these models with special attentions to the dark custodial symmetry.
