Overview

The Astro Cluster was purchased with contributions from some members of the Astronomy and Astrophysics Division of TDLI. It currently has 28 nodes, including 1 management node, 2 storage nodes, 2 GPU computing nodes, and 23 CPU computing nodes. The job scheduling software used is Slurm.  

Management

Cluster management is overseen by a Management Committee and a Volunteer Team.  

The Management Committee consists of current contributors and is primarily responsible for formulating cluster policies and rules. The chair of the committee is Yosuke Mizuno.  

The Volunteer Team is mainly in charge of the cluster's daily operations, including routine supervision, troubleshooting, technical consultation, and account management.
