The 50 Years with the GIM Mechanism (GIM-50) Symposium will be held on October 29, 2019 at T.D.Lee Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
In 1970, Prof.Glashow, Prof.Iliopoulos, and Prof.Maiani proposed the GIM mechanism. As a particle physics mechanism about a process that depresses the FCNC process, GIM mechanism has had a milestone impact on the development of particle physics.
With the 50th anniversary of the GIM mechanism,T.D.Lee Institute invites all colleagues to participate in this session to witness the development of this mechanism and participate in relevant discussions.
