We wish to attract approximately 30 active researchers, from both outside and within China, to present and discuss current research on the following topics:
1. Fundamental problems in radiative transfer
2. Fundamental physics inputs: atomic physics for stellar atmospheres, supernovae, and kilonovae
3. Neutrino transport techniques for supernovae and neutron star mergers
4. Stellar atmospheres, winds, and spectroscopy
5. Supernova light curves and spectra
6. Radiative transfer in complex geometries: reionization, accretion disks, star and planet formation, and kilonovae
7. Multi-messenger astrophysics: photons, neutrinos, nuclei, and gravitational waves
The TDLI will arrange lodging for the nights of May 26-31 and lunches during the workshop for all participants. There is a registration fee of RMB4,000 or US$600, which covers lodging, lunches, reception, banquet, and coffee breaks.
