The 5th international workshop on quantum matter – quantum magnetism will take place during August 19-23, 2024, on the campus of Yunnan Normal University, in Kunming (known as City of Eternal Spring according to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kunming), China. The first four of the series were held in past years and were focused on the dynamics of quantum magnetism, emergent phenomena, superconductors, and quantum many-body dynamics, respectively:

The scope of the 5th international workshop will be on quantum magnetism. A very significant fraction of the program will be devoted to discussions, collaborations, and more intimate connections to bridge experiment and theory. A tentative list of topics is as following.
• Quantum spin chain
• Quantum critical dynamics
• Exact solvable models and field theory
• Nonequilibrium spin dynamics
• Exotic orders and excitation states in quantum magnetic systems
• Magnetic topological systems
• Quantum spin liquids
• Spin-orbital coupled systems
The program will start in the morning on Monday, August 19, and conclude in the afternoon on Friday, August 23. There will be an evening reception on Sunday, August 18, 2024, and a banquet on the evening of Wednesday, August 21, 2024. There is no registration fee for this workshop. Meals and coffee breaks will be covered by the organizers.
All other attendees are encouraged to present a poster in the poster sessions, please ensure the size of the poster in the size of 600 x 900 mm2. The poster presentations will be held in multiple sessions during the conference.
