During the last decade or so, there has been enormous growing interest in quantum dynamics and topological matter in strongly interacting regimes. Impressive theoretical progress has been made on various research fronts, such as controlled many-body dynamics, quantum hydrodynamics and entanglement spreading in strongly interacting systems and/or topological quantum matter. Meanwhile, new technologies have been becoming available in many labs to further explore universal correlations in transport, hydrodynamic and other far-away from equilibrium phenomena. These experimental successes demand new theoretical studies on origins of extreme quantum phenomena in strongly interacting regimes. In this workshop, we will focus on uncharted territories of strongly interacting quantum matter where various quantum bounds of measurable quantities can be potentially saturated. We will explore transport dynamics, quantum hydrodynamics, and topological matter in these extremely strongly interacting regimes and debate on potential detections in specific condensed matter systems. We will highlight possible connections between nearly perfect quantum liquids that are subject to quantum bounds and underlying fundamental quantum concepts such as entanglement dynamics and rapid information scrambling. We anticipate the workshop will motivate and foster collaborations in the coming years.

Due to COVID-19, the workshop will be held online in a webinar form for foreign attendees. We encourage all domestic participants to attend onsite upon their availability. If you plan to visit TDLI in person, please contact Ms. Jialin Yang (jlyang@sjtu.edu.cn) for help.
