Motivated by rapid experimental progresses in quantum magnetism, along with recent important theory developments, we feel that it would be highly beneficial to host an event in 2019 for vigorous researchers of the field in Asia to discuss their recent scientific findings on quantum magnetism investigated via cutting-edge experimental techniques or theoretical approaches. The workshop will have 1-2 days’ tutorial sessions, followed by 4-5 days conference. The purpose of this workshop is to bring the researchers with different and complementary knowledge from different regions and create an active platform for discussion and exchange of ideas and understanding. Following is a tentative list of topics.

1. Novel and complex magnetic materials
2. New experimental techniques/probes: RIXS, thermal transports, etc
3. Strong spin-orbit-coupled magnets
4. Multipolar orders and their fluctuations
5. Topological defects & excitations in magnetic systems
6. Frustrated metals
7. Quantum critical dynamics in magnets
8. Improper multiferroics
9. Quantum spin liquids
10. Other strongly correlated systems
