Abstract:

Deep inelastic scattering at the Electron-Ion Collider will open new opportunities to investigate the TMD physics and the structure of matter. In this talk I will briefly introduce about N3LL TMD resummation for energy-energy correlations and lepton-jet azimuthal correlations in DIS.  At the EIC, the jet and hadron production can be investigated using collinear factorization in electron-proton and in electron-nucleus collisions. By studying the fragmentation function in vacuum and cold nuclear matter,  our study can be used to identify the optimal observables, center-of-mass energies, and kinematic regions most sensitive to the effects of cold nuclear matter. 

Biography:

 李海涛,山东大学物理学院教授,2015年博士毕业于北京大学,毕业后前往澳大利亚莫纳什大学,美国洛斯阿拉莫斯国家实验室,美国西北大学/阿贡国家实验室从事博士后研究,2021年入职山东大学物理学院。科研主要研究方向为微扰量子色动力学和对撞机唯象学,包括对基本粒子在对撞机上产生截面的精确理论预言,以及模拟对撞机上信号和背景的事例生成器。
