Hyy* background modeling

• Spurious Signal test: 
  • Finished (based on Rui's latest report):
    • observable mlly (110-160GeV)
    •  Max(S/δS) < 20% or Max(S±σS/δS) < 20% or Max(S/Ref_S) < 0.1
    • Results: Low-mass ll only: c0/c3/c4 can not pass & Smoothed low-mass ll: only c0 can not pass
  •  Plan:
    • extend the scan range to [105, 160] GeV
    • repeat the SS test for each category
    • to evaluate the difference in model results when using a wider range
• Sideband Plot for Background Template Preparation:
  • Plot a sideband region distribution using data and the lowmass ee and μμ background mc samples.
  • Use data driven methods to model other background processes and combine them with the lowmass ll background to build a more precise background template.

Zvvy Channel for nTGC study @ CEPC Full Simulation

• Update CEPCSW
• The current step is at the detector-level processing stage, including simulation, tracking, digitization and reconstruction
• start setting up the code framework for the later analysis
