The Pujiang Innovation Forum (PIF), co-hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the Shanghai Municipal Government, has been a vital international platform for exchange since its inception in 2008. Guided by its mission to "inspire innovative thinking, disseminate innovative ideas, and foster an innovative spirit," the forum is dedicated to building a "global platform for scientific and technological innovation," playing a pivotal role in advancing scientific and technological progress both in China and worldwide.

Commissioned by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Shanghai Tsung-Dao Lee Institute (TDLI) will host 2025 Pujiang Innovation Forum — Physics and Astronomy Sub-Forum (2025 PIFPASF), in collaboration with the School of Physics and Astronomy and the State Key Laboratory of Dark Matter Physics at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Under the theme "In Honor of Professor Tsung-Dao Lee — When the Largest Meets the Smallest", this sub-forum will highlight international exchange, bringing together leading senior scientists and outstanding young scholars in physics and astronomy from around the world. Participants will engage in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge scientific topics spanning from the "the largest" to the "the smallest",  e.g., the origin of the universe, dark matter, black holes, neutrinos, quantum phenomena, etc. By showcasing the latest research achievements in these fields, the forum aims to stimulate innovative thinking among attendees, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and collectively explore the mysteries of the universe. Additionally, the sub-forum will provide a platform for young scientists to present their research, supporting their growth as future leaders in scientific advancement.
