The 2025 Future Science Prize in Physical Sciences has been awarded to Academician Zhong Fang of the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Xi Dai of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and T. D. Lee Chair Professor (Adjunct) at Tsung-Dao Lee Institute (TDLI), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), and Academician Hong Ding of TDLI, SJTU, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the computational prediction and experimental realization of topological electronic materials.
To in-depth interpret this achievement, an academic symposium co-hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the Future Science Prize, and organized by the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute, will be held at TDLI on October 17, 2025. The event will be conducted in English, with simultaneous interpretation provided.
