Abstract:
The Borexino experiment has changed permanently our knowledge on solar neutrino spectroscopy, achieving the first real-time detection of pp, pep, 7Be, and CNO neutrinos. Our detailed analysis of Borexino Phase-II and Phase-III data provides robust measurements of these fluxes, offering powerful tests of Standard Solar Models and stringent constraints on new physics scenarios like neutrino non-standard interactions and magnetic moments. In this talk, I will present these state-of-the-art results and discuss how they set the stage for the next-generation Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO). With its precise energy resolution and high statistics, JUNO will improve the precision of solar neutrino measurements, opening new windows to probe solar metallicity and physics beyond the Standard Model.
