Abstract:
This talk will cover two research projects, The first part will describe the detector R and D project in which I developed and operated a continuous cosmic ray detection system. The second part will focus on my contribution to the MINOS covariance matrix analysis. I will outline the implementation of the fit, the role of correlated uncertainties, and the specific behaviour seen in the MINOS only configuration.
Biography:
Dr. Mustafa Ozkaynak is from Cyprus, he recently completed his PhD in experimental neutrino physics at University College London where he also did his Masters. His work includes detector R and D f and contributions to the covariance matrix fit used in the joint NOvA MINOS analysis.
