Description

Abstract:

We consider energy correlators with one identified hadron in deep inelastic scattering (DIS) and single-inclusive annihilation (SIA). This observable simultaneously probes multiple kinematic regimes, including the hard radiation region, the current fragmentation (Sudakov) region, the target/jet fragmentation region, and multi-Regge kinematics. It allows consistent matching between perturbative and non-perturbative regions, and thus provides a unified description of the transition from a weakly coupled partonic system to the non-perturbative regime of color confinement in QCD.

Biography:

Yu Jiao Zhu obtained his PhD from Zhejiang University in 2021 under the supervision of Prof. HuaXing Zhu. He then joined the University of Bonn as a postdoctoral researcher working with Claude Duhr. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Physics. His research focuses on quantum chromodynamics and effective field theories, with particular interests in factorization and resummation, as well as in understanding confinement dynamics through collider observables.
