    • 10:00 10:10
      Status 10m
      Speaker: Kang Yu (TDLI, SJTU)
      1. Finish Geant4 simulation of simplified PandaX-4T model and get Co60's energy spectrum.
      2. Follow the analysis tutorial of H->ZZ->4l from ATLAS Open Data and finish the report.
    • 10:10 10:20
      Status 10m
      Speaker: Linjing Duan (TDLI, SJTU)

      CEPC Zvvy nTGC

      • The fitting procedure has been successfully run, and get a preliminary result
      • An example of the operator G⁺ with fitting results is shown. Left: photon pT Right: missing energy

      • The 95% confidence interval shows the parameter range compatible with the data at CEPC with s=240GeV and 20 ab⁻¹. Parameter values outside this range are statistically excluded.
      • The two variables give very similar constraints on this operator, indicating similar sensitivity.

      Plan to do:

      • cross-check with Danning and complete the 2D crossterm fitting
      • Understand the physics results under different experimental conditions, and compare them with the results from CEPC Zννˉγ Delphes fast simulation and CEPC Zℓℓγ full simulation(Danning's previous work)

    • 10:20 10:30
      Status 10m

    • 10:30 10:40
      Status 10m
      Speaker: Zelin Yan (TDLI, SJTU)

      H2a4b analysis:

      • Add Z+jets mc sample k-factor(~7%), lep effSF(~3%) and modify mc23a lumi to 29.6fb^-1(~7%)
      • Z+jets mismatching: data/mc = 0.6 --> data/mc = 0.8

      Wlllv analysis:

      • Train BDT model and add some simple kinematic vars

      Next:

      • H2a4b analysis:
        • Add muon trigger SF into ntuple production(~11%)
        • update our easyjet pkg and generate new version ntuples
      • Wlllv analysis:
        • Add more vars into NN( Z' analysis as reference, from Tairan)
    • 10:40 10:50
      Status 10m
      Speaker: Bai-Hong Zhou (TDLI, SJTU)

      Finished:

      • Zbbj Calibration:
        • Use quickPull to rank the NPs and plotted the ranking plots;
      • ssWWjj:
        • Plotted the vars distritbution for WZCR and fixed the negative SF issue;

      Plan:

      • Zbbj Calibration:
        • Prepare the summary presentation today;
      • ssWWjj:
        • Investigate on the yields for the WZCR;
    • 10:50 11:00
      Status 10m
      Speaker: Xuliang Zhu (TDLI, SJTU)
    • 11:00 11:10
      Status 10m
      Speaker: Zhiyu Zhao (TDLI, SJTU)
    • 11:10 11:20
      Status 10m
      Speaker: Haidar Mas'ud Alfanda (TDLI, SJTU)

      CEPC

      • e+e- ->ZH, Z->l+l- (e or muon), H->ss->4b @ 240 GeV
      • Generated 1M events using MG5+PY8 for {10..60..5} GeV light singlet Higgs mass points (with Xuliang)
      • Now I am running the detector simulation to the the reconstructed-level PFOs
      • The final sample will be used to train the the jet tagging ParT from scratch
      • The previous tagging model is based on the old detector geometry and it doesn't perform well for our case
      • We will setup the model training by the end of this week
    • 11:20 11:30
      Status 10m
      Speaker: Matthias Tartarin (TDLI, SJTU)

      REU: Undergrad Research Discussions
      • 11:30
        Status 5m
        Speaker: Peixu Teng (SPA, SJTU)
        • Last Week:
          • I changed the confidence level to 95%, but there was no difference in the results.
          • The next thing i want to do is to find relevant data and create an image of LEP as shown in the diagram below(https://arxiv.org/pdf/1803.03262)
            • The main reason for doing this is that we are currently primarily comparing ourselves to him.
            • i think d_gamma is QED only, and d_{\gamma z} include electroweak interaction. I haven't finished reading it yet.
            • Based on the current results, our experimental conditions appear to be slightly superior and can encompass more aspects.

        • To do list:
          • After completing the above steps, the parameter range needs to be extended to ensure consistency (0.001-100GeV)
          • Consider the suggestions regarding the "limits" mentioned earlier. However, I personally think it won't be very useful. When the mass approaches zero, it should obviously be indistinguishable from a neutrino. The behavior of particles with larger mass is what needs to be investigated, as mentioned above.
