Abstract:
In this talk, I will discuss about my recent work on the searches for the light scalar dark matter with quadratic interactions with SM fields. This will lead to the effective interactions between the light dark matter and the nucleon fields phi^2 N N/f below the QCD confinement scale, which can be thought as potential barrier for the dark matter wind in the presence of ordinary matter. When the potential barrier is large enough compared with the kinetic energy of the dark matter, the dark matter flux will bounce back from the ordinary object, as a result inducing a pressure force on the object. After taking into the constraints from Supernova cooling, BBN and gravitational inverse square law test, there exists parameter spaces in our model which can be searched for by utilizing this force effect on the experiment for the test of the weak equivalence principle.

柳达,山东大学研究员。2016年博士毕业于中国科学院大学理论物理研究所,之后在阿贡国家实验室(2016-2019),加州大学戴维斯分校(2019-2023)和匹兹堡大学(2023-2024)从事博士后研究,2025年入职山东大学。主要从事超出标准模型的新物理在对撞机的唯象学研究,轻暗物质的探测和在壳散射振幅在粒子物理唯象学的研究,在PRL, JHEP, PRD 等期刊发表29篇SCI论文。
