Abstract:
The tech talk will demonstrate how the Wolfram Quantum Framework provides an end-to-end, vendor-agnostic environment for quantum research covering symbolic formulation of quantum algorithms, quantum circuits, symbolic quantum computation, and seamless execution across multiple quantum platforms such as Qiskit and Amazon Braket. It can be integrated with Python, C and other languages.
This talk would include examples that emphasize how Wolfram Language enables researchers to move efficiently from theory to implementation, supports reproducible and auditable workflows (which are especially important for government-funded research), and integrates naturally with existing HPC, AI, and data science pipelines. Concrete examples in quantum algorithms, quantum error mitigation, materials science, and optimization would help demonstrate how the framework accelerates national research initiatives while reducing tool fragmentation and long-term infrastructure costs.
Biography:
Mohammad Bahrami holds a PhD in physical chemistry from Sharif University of Technology. His research has focused on quantum theory and its applications at leading international institutes, including the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics and the University of California, Riverside, before joining Wolfram Research. His expertise spans the foundations of quantum modeling and simulation and the development of computational tools for describing quantum systems in realistic environments. With extensive teaching experience across advanced topics for both academic and general audiences, he now leads Wolfram's quantum initiatives, including the development of the Wolfram Quantum Framework.
