Status 5mSpeaker: Zhijing Zhang (TDLI, SJTU)
Today's focus:
[STCF]:
- Muons were simulated to incident laterally on the CsI crystal, to obtain the relationship between the crystal’s light output and the particle‑interaction position. (differences exist between simulation plots and experimental data, and this issue remains unresolved)
[DarkSHINE]:
- Carried out a test in a thermostat chamber to study the gain of single‑photon response under different temperatures and bias voltages. Data acquisition has been completed, while data analysis is yet to be carried out.
- Studied several literatures on collider calorimeters.
Plans:
[STCF]:
- Analyze the differences between simulation configuration and experimental setup, and modify the optical parameters in the simulation so that the trend of simulated data curves agrees better with experimental results.
[DarkSHINE]:
- Analyze the data collected last week, and obtain the single‑photon gain via multi‑Gaussian fitting.

[ZZy]
FInished
- Migrated the Run-2 ZZγ JO to the Sherpa 3 YAML format with AthGeneration 23.6.60.
- Successfully completed the 13 TeV initial generation test and produced a valid EVNT file.
- Checked the Run-2 PRW and cross-section handling in EasyJet
- set up the initial EasyJet ZZγ structure and completed a small Run-2 test run
Plan
- Finalize the JO settings and perform higher-statistics tests at 13 and 13.6 TeV.
- Prepare the gridpack and validation materials, then create the JIRA ticket for the MC sample request

Troubleshooting Static Quiescent Current Discrepancies using TINA-TI
Measured static quiescent current exhibited noticeable deviations from expected values. To isolate the root cause, I constructed a high-fidelity circuit model in TINA-TI to mirror the real-world test environment
Thermal Benchmarking & Verification via Ansys Icepak
Standardized Electronics Cooling Modeling: Built detailed Compact Thermal Models (CTM) in Ansys Icepak to serve as the benchmark for existing COMSOL simulations

[Today's focus:]
- Wlllv analysis:
- Most exp. and theory uncertainties are implemented in preliminary SR+WZCR fit
- mlll and mT_lllv both shows similar expected sensitivity with total uncertainty of ~11% on mu_sig.
- WZ norm is constrained to ~3%.
- H2a4b analysis:
- Generate baseline cut ntuples with mc23ade and data22 23 24.
[Next Plans:]
- Wlllv analysis:
- DNN model shows better data/mc agreement in SRsideband, will cross check in xgboost.
- Finish BDT section in INT note.
- H2a4b analysis:
- Generate Z+jets CR and SR ntuples and get preliminary expected upper limit.
- Data/MC in Z+jets CR.
- Wlllv analysis:

[Hyy*]:
- Updated the plots in our paper draft based on the comments;
[ssWW]:
- Presented our systematics study and preliminary significance results in the weekly meeting;

Plans:
[ssWW]:
- Prepare to launch new sample production once the sherpa3 samples are ready;
- Try some stratogies to improve the ParT performance;
[DarkSHINE FastSimu]:
- Wait for the training results using the new samples with larger statistics (~5M enents);
- Evaluate the training results
[HWW QE]:
- Learn the Hypothesis test strategy in HZZ QE;
- Train the EveNet with the new input samples;

Exotic Higgs decay analysis
- The training features from the XCone algorithm are found to be compatible with those from the ee-kT algorithm – we therefore expect the similar tagging efficiency.
- An example of jet kinematics is shown below. Left to right: Jet energy constituents, difference in azimuthal angle between the particle and the jet axis, difference in pseudorapidity between the particle and the jet axis.

- Training the ParT model on the IHEP cluster using GPU resources is slower than expected, possibly due to a high queue of jobs. If this problem persists, we will need to consider an alternative solution.
