Probing Higher-order Quantum Correlations in High Energy Physics

Abstract:
The concept of higher-order quantum correlations, which remain scarcely explored, is introduced. I then present some of our recent findings. Specifically, we formulate a new class of Clauser–Horne inequalities for statistical cumulants and central moments. We demonstrate that significant violations of these third-order constraints arise in entangled hyperon–antihyperon systems. Such entangled pairs can be abundantly produced in charmonium decays and are therefore accessible to high-energy physics experiments.
