A new frontier emerging in condensed matter physics: States beyond Cooper pairing in superconductors, superfluidity of nontrivial bosonic composites in ultracold atoms, composite topological order, and related developments in unconventional symmetry breaking in high-energy physics. The states have new properties, such as a new kind of fractional excitations related to fission of the magnetic flux quantum. The workshop aims to gather researchers interested in detecting and exploring the physical properties of novel states in electronic materials beyond the paradigms of conventional superconductivity. These include, but are not limited to (i) electrically neutral electron quadrupling condensates (charge-0e), which can emerge in superconductors with broken time-reversal symmetry due to counterflow currents in different bands of multiband materials, (ii) multicomponent superconductors with an effective charge above 2 (charge-4e and charge -6e), as well as (iii) 2D systems where exotic multicomponent superconductivity can appear as a result of intersection or twisting of different layers.
