Abstract: The scattering of light dark matter off keV thermal electrons inside the Sun produces a "fast" sub-component of dark matter flux that may be detectable in underground experiments. In the first half of my talk, I will present the details of the calculations of this "fast" flux, focusing on two benchmark scenarios, the contact interaction case and the light mediator case. Ultralight dark photon dark matter can convert into radio waves in the atmosphere of the Sun. This signal can be detected by the radio wave telescopes on the earth's surface. In the second half of my talk, I will discuss the recent progress in this direction.
