      ttWML analysis status:

      • The paper draft 1.0 entered first ATLAS circulation yesterday. This is a huge milestone for the analysis team. We are requesting a CONF conversion to be able to go public for Moriond QCD. Deadline for comments is March 14th.

      ttHML analysis status:

      • Decision made to adopt the 3D MVA setup for defining the SR discriminant in the 2lSS channel but the choice of BDT vs DNN is still not made. The performance in a realistic fit setup based on latest production will need to be assessed to guide the choice.
      • Jialin currently checking the MC modeling of all the input training variables to rule out any with poor modeling. Once the DD QMisID samples, the agreement can be rechecked especially for regions where QMisID was suspected to be overestimated.
      • The option to adopt a looser b-tagging WP for the events selection is being considered as it was shown to result in enhanced MVAs performance. We will test the impact of adopting this WP on the template fit fakes estimation.
