天语是由上海交通大学资助的一个1米大视场高精度测光巡天项目。天语望远镜预计将于2025年建成，放置于青海冷湖。第一期天语研讨会（TWI）旨在讨论天语巡天可以实现的科学目标，并与从事系外行星和时域科学的专家之间建立合作关系。在此次研讨会上，我们将介绍天语计划的观测模式、测光精度和以凌星行星搜寻为主的科学目标。研讨会还将讨论如何优化天语观测模式以提高在各类科学目标上的产出。
本次会议将免收会议注册费，并报销报告人的车费和住宿费。中英文报告皆可。我们鼓励所有对天语项目感兴趣的同行参加此次研讨会，为天语计划的优化和科学目标的实现做出贡献。
Tianyu, a high-precision photometric survey funded by SJTU and conducted using a 1-meter telescope located in Lenghu, is anticipated to achieve its first light in 2025. The one-day Tianyu Workshop I (TWI) aims to foster discussions on the scientific goals achievable through the Tianyu photometric survey and to facilitate collaborations among experts in exoplanet and time-domain science.
During this workshop, we will present an overview of the Tianyu project, covering its observation mode, photometric precision, and transit exoplanet yield. We will engage in discussions on optimizing Tianyu's observation mode to enhance the scientific yield for photometric variables and time-domain science.
Speakers delivering talks at the workshop will have their travel, dinner and accommodation expenses covered. We extend an invitation to all those interested in the Tianyu project to join us at the workshop.
Due to time constraints, we do not guarantee that everyone can have a chance to give a talk.
