3 Simulation and analysis

Investigating truth hit behavior in baseline 1.6.

• downloading a few Dsimu signal samples for display.
  • number of rec. hits = 0: recoil electron eaten by target, or reflect at large angle
  • (tag hit=7, dark brem & hardbrem, process energy = 7997 MeV)
  • (tag hit=198, dark brem, process energy = 7996 MeV)
  • investigate the reason of different event fraction of this kind of events
• re-running a sample with vertical/horizontal placed trackers to see the impact.
• check the online validation plots.

ATLAS performance and physics

4 ttW/ttH -> multi-leptons analysis

1. Finished the 2lSS git analysis and summarised this work on the ttH internal note.
2. Help to produce small ntuples for the group.
3. For the multi-fit, wait for the ntuples of 3l teams. ( David is coping ntuples to lxplus)

5 Electron/photon performance, H->Zgamma and gg* analysis

LHE -> EVNT : Finish Run2 and Run3 sample production ( locally , showered with Pythia8 from official LHE files @ 13TeV/13.6 TeV )

EVNT -> TruthDAOD : Finish truth derivation with different release ( Release 21 and Release 24 )

TruthDAOD -> Ntuple : Finish analysis code development and conversion 

Ntuple -> Hist : Finish Histogram script and histogram inputs produced already 

Hist -> Plot : developing plot script ( compare different histograms )

 

Z(ll)+gam EFT analysis
