From Parity Violation to CP violation -- In Memory of Tsung-Dao Lee

This memorial meeting is held in honor of Professor Tsung-Dao Lee, who passed away on August 4th this year. Professor Lee was a giant in science. His work with Professor Chen-Ning Yang on parity violation in weak interactions in 1956 opened a new door for humanity in understanding the laws of Nature. Their groundbreaking work won the 1957 Nobel Prize. Professor Lee made great pioneering contributions in many branches of physics, including Quantum Field Theory, Particle and Nuclear Physics, Statistical Physics, Fluid Dynamics, Astrophysics, and more. Physics was an integral part of Professor Lee's life. His passing is a great loss to science.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the discovery of CP violation, in which Professor Lee made several important contributions. This meeting will focus on the topics of parity violation and CP violation and their far-reaching implications in physics and cosmology. It also serves as a platform to discuss new developments and new opportunities in related areas.
The meeting will feature invited talks to review the progress made since the discovery of parity violation, to memorialize Professor Tsung-Dao Lee, and to inspire new generations to continue the torch and make new contributions to science. At the end, there will be a panel discussion on future opportunities in related particle physics.
We welcome interested researchers to participate in the meeting. The registration fee is 500 RMB, and the payment method is on-site payment, which can be made using a bank card or WeChat/Alipay. Participants will be responsible for their own accommodation expenses.
